Motorised height adjustments enable the Sydney to come level with the bed height and fit neatly alongside the bed eliminating any gaps during patient transfer with the seat being locked securely in place alongside the bed by easy operational braking castors.The features as described above allow this lateral transfer be done manually and without the need of hoists and lifts.The “Sydney Go Flat” also incorporates principles of pressure management to ensure that when repositioned and sitting out of bed that the patient is supported correctly to reduce the risk of pressure injuries.
